We are looking for a driven team member to join our award-winning practice located in Auckland city fringe. The ideal candidate is someone that is passionate about design and problem-solving and keen to take a leading role driving projects forward. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and able to independently manage small-scale residential and interior projects. As a collaborative office there is also opportunity to be involved with a wide range of other exciting projects as part of our team.
We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements such as remote working or part-time employment. As a young company, this role is an opportunity to play an instrumental part in helping craft a studio culture where ideas and creativity will be celebrated. We are a practice where your views will matter and developing your identity as a designer is of great importance to us.

Key skills:
Open and friendly communicator, with experience in client liaison
Is self-driven and enjoys working within a collaborative team environment
Passionate about design and keen to lead predominantly small residential projects
Able to produce clear and accurate documentation (Resource Consent and Building Consent sets)
Has experience with procurement and contract administration processes.
Proficiency in Revit. Sketchup and Adobe CC is a plus
A sound understanding of construction methodology and building code compliance
Interested in how creative conceptual thinking can be delivered through strong technical detail resolution.
Previous residential experience (ideally a minimum of 4-5+ years in New Zealand)
You must already have the right to work in New Zealand and be able to provide references.
