We are looking for a driven team member to join our award-winning practice located in Auckland city fringe. The ideal candidate is someone that is passionate about design and problem-solving and keen to take a leading role driving projects forward. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and able to independently manage small-scale residential and interior projects. As a collaborative office there is also opportunity to be involved with a wide range of other exciting projects as part of our team. 

We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements such as remote working or part-time employment. As a young company, this role is an opportunity to play an instrumental part in helping craft a studio culture where ideas and creativity will be celebrated. Key skills: 

• Open and friendly communicator, with experience in client liaison 

• Is self-driven and enjoys working within a collaborative team environment 

• Passionate about design and keen to lead predominantly small residential projects 

• Able to produce clear and accurate documentation (Resource Consent and Building Consent sets) 

• Has experience with procurement and contract administration processes. 

• Proficiency in Revit.  Sketchup and Adobe CC is a plus  

• A sound understanding of construction methodology and building code compliance 

• Interested in how creative conceptual thinking can be delivered through strong technical detail resolution. 

• Previous residential experience (ideally a minimum of 4-5+ years in New Zealand) 

• You must already have the right to work in New Zealand and be able to provide references.
